Making a Gift to The College of Arts and Sciences
Alumni and friends of The College have available to them a myriad of opportunities to make annual gifts in support of its mission and priorities. The College of Arts and Sciences Dean's Fund is an undesignated fund that provides the dean with discretionary funds to meet those needs of highest priority within The College. Restricted gifts to The College's 36 departments and programs enable department heads or program directors the flexibility to meet their respective academic priorities.
Annual gifts are solicited by The College through year-round annual giving efforts under the oversight of The College's Board of Advisors and through semi-annual communications from the dean. In addition, recipients can always use the solicitation envelope enclosed in Connections as a way to speed their gift back to The College.
A unique opportunity to support The College is provided through membership on the Dean's Council.
You may also restrict your annual Fund for Syracuse (FFS) gift to The College--or any of the programs within The College--by designating the restriction on the gift form. For more information about planned giving opportunities:
Lastly, endowed gifts are of lasting significance to The College, as they provide income in perpetuity. The income they generate provides capital to the University and College and, as such, serve as the financial foundation on which the future depends. Endowed funds grow through prudent investment and stewardship of their principal amounts and generate funds to be used each year to support The College's priorities. Endowments can be created to honor the name of a family member, friend, family or favorite professor, and will be remembered at Syracuse forever.

There are several ways in which you can make a gift to The College of Arts and Sciences, its departments, or a program of special interest or priority to you.
Current gifts include:
