Apply for Admissions

Undergraduate Programs

As an undergraduate liberal arts student, you earn either a bachelor of arts (B.A.) or bachelor of science degree (B.S.). Students dually enrolled in two colleges at Syracuse University are granted the appropriate degree for the home college.

The two components of your education are the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum and an academic major. These components complement one another. You may select a major leading to a specific career, or choose one that may not directly connect with what you do later on.

You can review a complete list of the departments and majors offered by The College and contact the Visitor's Center to request a brochure related to any of our academic programs. University-wide course catalogs and admissions information are available from the Admissions Office.

Undergraduate Academic Programs

Being Undecided or Multidecided

You may still be exploring your academic interests when you enter college—and that’s a good thing! By studying the liberal arts, you will explore your talents and interests and expand your intellectual and communication skills. In the process you develop the ability and perspective you’ll need to assure your success, whatever your career may be. It may change several times during your working years.
