Key websites for funding in the humanities and social sciences are the following: • The American Council of Learned Societies (administered by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars) • Fulbright-Hayes (administered by the U.S. Department of Education) • John Simon Memorial Guggenheim Foundation National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Stipend Program The University annually nominates two faculty members for this competitive grant. Successful candidates receive up to $6,000 for two consecutive months of research and writing. Faculty may self-nominate by submitting a form through the University’s Office of Sponsored Programs.
