Student Services Mission
We welcome, we support, and we challenge College of Arts and Sciences students to realize their fullest intellectual and personal potential while engaging in service to their communities.
Student Services is guided in its work with students, faculty, and all other members of the Syracuse University community by the following core values:

Support.  We are committed to helping all students realize their academic and intellectual potential.
Service.  We are dedicated to building lasting relationships with those we serve by listening to, and then providing, the student support services they need most to achieve academic success.
Respect.  We have respect for each other and for those we serve by always communicating truthfully, but with compassion and sensitivity.
Teamwork.  We know that by working as a team, with the open exchange of ideas and information, we will achieve the highest level of service excellence and professional satisfaction.
Continuous Growth.  We challenge ourselves, and others, to be continuous learners who strive for professional excellence and personal growth.

Student Services produces CASNET, The College's bi-weekly electronic newsletter, to all students enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.  The newsletter contains vital academic information on academic advising and counseling services, career and major exploration, health professions advising, pre-law advising, academic records processing, progress-toward-degree information, and liberal arts core requirements.
